On 22 July, 2022, China Isotope & Radiation Corp. (CIRC) participated the Africa-China Match-Making Meeting on nuclear technology and knowledge transfer in Kigali, Rwanda. The event was held amid the 33rd AFRA Technical Working Group Meeting, which was organized by the International Atomic Energy Authority (IAEA).
CIRC has long been a partner with customers worldwide and the meeting will facilitate CIRC’s engagement and communication with more african partners. During the meeting, CIRC made two theme speeches titled “Gamma Irradiation Facility and Applications of Radiation Processing Technology” and “Nuclear Healthcare for a Better Life”. With the technologies and their application, african partners are expected to improve local medical, agricultural and industrial conditions.
CIRC also promoted the training programs on “Radiation technology” and “Nuclear Medicine and Radiology” in the coming September & November this year, which are supported by the Ministry of Commerce of China. The event successfully connects CIRC with a number of partners from different countries of Africa, lifting CIRC’s visibility and reputation in african market and creating opportunities for CIRC to work towards solid projects with AFRA member countries.
